This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's grey-green wool suit jacket.
This suit is made from a very nice, heavy greyish-green herringbone wool. The jacket has a late 70's or early 80's cut with mid-width lapels, patch pockets with medium-width flaps and a lower gorge. The front of the jacket has two knotted leather buttons, as well as four per cuff. It is partially lined in light green synthetic fabric and the shoulders are more stiffened than padded.
Overall, the jacket is in used - but good - condition. It does have a small moth hole on one of the cuffs (see photo), however, there are no rips, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, etc.
Jacket bears brand, seller, fabric content, and laundering information labels. There is a synthetic label inside the chest pocket, which may be an 80's-style Union label, but since it is blank, we are unsure.
No size appears to be marked, so our measurements are as follow:
Across chest, pit to pit, buttoned, laid flat: 21"
Across waist, buttoned, laid flat: 20"
Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 24"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 18"
Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 30"
