Used test set. This device uses an internal capacitor to produce the test voltage. Charged with 120V standard US or 12VDC.
Unit test insulation until the capacitor had discharged below the acceptable value. Recharge and the tester is ready for service.
The JM-100 has no battery. The manufacture shows this unit can be used to test insulators, arresters and URD cable.
