This Atlas has been taken apart unfortunately.
There is one page missing.
The rest of the atlas is in good shape considering its age.
The atlas has an index but they decided to make a personal index as well by cutting the
Pages and labeling them. So I guess you could say it has been modified in a way.
It was most likely done by George Clinton Van Allen who has signed the book To Ann Van Allen
It says Geo C Van Allen Abstract office 1 Sept 1894 To Ann Van Allen 1901 as far as I can make out. Please see picture.
A few pages have water marks I guess.
Lovely colored maps and black and white drawings of buildings and homes of the day.
Will include three extra pages that were in this book.
One page is a Birdseye View of The Town of Spirit Lake, Iowa and Lakeside sketches,
Another page is a Henry County Map
And finally a page that has counties of Watonwan and Martin Minn. on one side
and Map of Faribault county which I believe is Minn on the other.
Mailed usps media mail which usually takes the scenic route.
It weighs approx. 3 lbs. 6 oz.
